Thursday, 29 August 2013: At a Denise Krum fundraiser tonight with the candidate herself, and the former Auckland City’s longest serving deputy mayor and living legend David Hay. Big congratulations to Team Krum for a great event at Lido Cinema to see the movie Red 2. Denise is standing for the Maungakiekie-Tamaki ward. She’s running an excellent campaign, is a successful community leader and will make a great councillor.

Wednesday, 30 August 2013: I attended a St Heliers Business Association breakfast this morning to hear mayoral candidate John Palino speak. John is a great guy, is working hard, and has a lot of Aucklanders behind him. I’ll be voting for him and wish him every success. www.palinoformayor.co.nz
On Monday 9 September I went up to Orewa to go campaigning with Brent Robinson. Brent is a local businessman who is standing to be one of two councillors for Albany. He’s running an impressive campaign and I have no doubt he will be elected come 12 October. Brent Robinson will bring some real financial grunt to the council table and will be a much-needed strong voice for the Albany ward. Check out his website and promises: www.brentrobinson.co.nz
